The conflict in Sudan has taken tens of thousands of lives. Over two million more have been driven into refugee camps. Survivors are completely dependent on those willing to help them.
HIAS currently offers trauma counseling and humanitarian aid to desperate Sudanese refugees from Darfur in five refugee camps in Chad.
